Kayak + Starlight

A route for the senses on the Guadalquivir River as it passes through Villafranca de Córdoba, where you can enjoy the soft breeze at night, the sound of the water falling from the paddle, the contrasts of light as the canoes pass by and the aroma of the aromatic plants on the riverbank, which during the day we hardly appreciate. The icing on the cake...to observe a sky full of stars rocked by the water of the river. Undoubtedly, one of the most special kayak routes that can be done in the area.

Although this route can be done all year round, it is generally done more in the warmer months, taking advantage of the pleasant temperature of the riverbank and the charm of the night. The Remedios Bridge, illuminated in blue and torches placed in the water that naturally illuminate the embarkation point, provide a very unique stamp.

We sail under the moonlight or starlight, under the sky of Sierra Morena, declared by Unesco in 2012 the World's Largest Celestial Reserve (Starlight Zone).
